Frequently Asked Questions

Is biletalarmi free?

Yes, setting up alarms and receiving notifications is completely free. Unlimited alarms and SMS-style features may be offered as an optional premium plan in the future.

Are you affiliated with TCDD?

No. biletalarmi is an independent third-party service. We periodically query TCDD's official system and notify you when a seat opens up. We have no formal relationship, authority, or business partnership with TCDD Tasimacilik A.S.

How fast are notifications?

Web push arrives in about 5 seconds, Telegram in about 10 seconds, and e-mail in about 30 seconds. Average notification latency is 30 to 60 seconds. You can enable multiple channels at the same time.

Do you buy the ticket automatically?

No. We only send notifications. The actual purchase happens through TCDD's own channels (eybis.tcdd.gov.tr or the TCDD mobile app). After receiving a notification you have to head to TCDD quickly and buy the seat yourself.

Can I set multiple alarms for the same date?

Yes. You can set alarms for trains leaving at 08:00, 10:30, and 14:00 on the same day in parallel. Each is tracked independently.

How do I cancel an alarm?

Three ways: (1) the "unsubscribe" link in notification e-mails, (2) the /alarmlarim command in the Telegram bot, (3) a request through the contact form.

Will my e-mail address remain private?

Yes. Your e-mail is only used to send notifications. It is never shared with third parties. See Privacy Policy for details.

How do I connect the Telegram bot?

Tick the Telegram option when setting an alarm. After submitting, a "Connect on Telegram" button appears. Telegram opens, you tap "Start" or send /start — the link is recognized automatically and you don't need to enter any code.

What if I can't find a seat on my route?

We keep watching and will notify you the moment one opens. If you're in a hurry, also check buses and flights on the same route — alternative transport links appear above the search.
